It started in 2006 as the Yi Bei Cha in China website, a place for me to share with family and friends about my life in Yunnan, China.
In early 2010 it became the blog Rebecca D. Henderson – writing about what happens next. After 10 years in Yunnan, it was time to spend a year (or so) writing, traveling in the States, and figuring out…well, what would happen next. I called it my year of taking a faith-filled risk. A year of learning what it takes to be a writer.
Now, I have transitioned to full-time writing, and the blog continues. Join me here for stories about writing, reading, travel, and life.
For my professional site (great news, you can hire me!) see me over at Rebecca Henderson – freelance writer and editor.
For those who kept up with me through the old Yi Bei Cha in China website, and for those who are new and might want to catch up with that chapter in my story, you’ll find all of my old blog entries in the archives, minus the comments from the old site (that wasn’t intentional–I wish I could have kept them). You’ll also find my serialized blog stories are now easier to access under their own “Serials” tab.
